I don't think sending a letter to the editor would accomplish anything I want to accomplish.

And I don't think that Curry is stupid or horrible (self-centred, sure, but it was an autobiographical essay - that's kind of the name of the game). What I wanted to talk about was the stupid and horrible thing she wrote, and my reaction to it.
