I finished writing a book!
That means I get to come back to you, sweet, sweet you, except not today, because today my body realised I was resting it and promptly responded by giving me muscle spasms in my left shoulder and neck. Thanks, body, ilu too. I went and got myself massaged and that helped, but no long typing sessions for me.
I also gave the keynote speech at a conference held at my former high school, which seemed to go very well.
My dad, who has had some health stuff that necessitated driving to Dunedin and back 5 times a week doesn't have to do that any more, excellent.
And it is the last four minutes of my 31st birthday, which has been very nice. My parents got me vodka, flowers, and a card that assures me I am "awesome, no lie".
Seriously, that's what it says.
They get me.
